HUANG Huikang

Dr. Huang Huikang is a professor of international law and senior diplomat. Currently, he serves as a distinguished professor, doctoral supervisor of Wuhan University, arbitrator of the Permanent Court of International Arbitration, chairman of the International Law Advisory Committee of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and visiting professor at Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University. He was a member of the United Nations International Law Commission, Ambassador of China to Malaysia, Director of the Treaty and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Special Representative for Climate Change Negotiations, and deputy mayor of Tangshan city. He has authored over ten monographs and dozens of academic papers, including China Diplomacy and International Law.
