Dr. Ding Ding is currently a professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the University of International Business and Economics, Executive Vice Chairperson and Secretary-General of China International Economic Law Society, Vice Chairperson of Beijing Society of International Law and Vice Chairperson of Beijing Financial Services Law Society. She is an arbitrator for China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, China Maritime Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Hainan International Arbitration Court, Tianjin Arbitration Commission, Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, and a mediator of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade/China Chamber of International Commerce Mediation Center.

She has been mainly engaged in teaching, research and arbitration practice on international commercial law, company law, comparative business organization law, international investment law, the rule of law for climate change and carbon markets. She has studied and conducted research as a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg) and The Hague Academy of International Law. In 2011, she won the Beijing Distinguished College Teacher Award.
