Professor Du Xinli, who got J.S.D., is currently a professor, Ph.D. Supervisor of International Law School and President of Arbitration Institute of China University of Political Science and Law. She is also the Deputy Chairman of Chinese Society of Private International Law and Vice President of China Academy of Arbitration Law.

Prof. Du is mainly engaged in education, research, and practice of private international law, international economic law, international investment law, international trade law, contract law, international commercial arbitration and international civil litigation. She is proficient in the prevention and resolution mechanisms and relevant rules of international trade, international investment, shipping and commercial disputes. As an expert, she participated in legislation and amendment of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Choice of Law for Foreign- related Civil Relationships and Arbitration Law. She has published many academic papers both in domestic and international journals. Her representative publications include Research on the Theory and Practice of International Commercial Arbitration, Research on International Private Law Legislation in China, Law Application in International Commercial Contracts, International Civil Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration, and so on.

As an expert, Prof. Du takes charge of projects for many institutions, such as the National Social Science Fund of China, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Since being an arbitrator for China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission in 1996, she has been an arbitrator for Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration and Hainan International Arbitration Court constantly.
