Prof. Si Yuzhuo is the former president of Dalian Maritime University, as well as professor of maritime law and Ph.D. supervisor. He is also an honorary member of the Comité Maritime International and adviser of China Maritime Arbitration Commission. He has been engaged in the education and research of maritime law for a long time, and is one of the main drafters of Chinese Maritime Code. He has participated in international academic conferences and international maritime legislation several times as an expert in maritime law. He also participated in the formulation and discussion of The Rotterdam Rules of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law served as the head of Chinese delegation and an expert member.
