Judge Guo Zaiyu was born in January 1972. He holds a Juris Doctor degree. He started his career in August, 2000, worked successively at the Fourth Civil Division of the Hubei High People's Court, the Fourth Civil Division of the SPC, and the Fifth Circuit Court of the SPC. He was appointed as the Deputy Chief Judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the Hubei High People's Court in March 2010. In December 2016, he was appointed as Judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the SPC and Presiding Judge of the Fifth Circuit Court of the SPC.
